This website (tendandflow.com) is operated by Tend and Flow Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16488809, registered office 83 Roundwood Lane, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, UK.

This is an informational website. It does not include any forms, sign-ups, logins or other means for you to submit personal data directly to us. This policy explains what limited data is collected automatically, how it’s used, and your rights.

1. Who we are (the data controller)

Tend and Flow Limited is the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What information we collect

We do not collect any personal data directly through this website (no contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, or accounts).

Server logs. Like virtually all websites, when you visit tendandflow.com our hosting provider (IONOS UK) automatically records standard web server log data, which may include: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you visit, referring page, and date/time of access. This happens automatically as part of how the internet works, not because you’ve submitted anything.

  • Purpose: keeping the site secure, diagnosing technical faults, and understanding basic traffic levels.
  • Lawful basis: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — specifically, our interest in running a secure, functioning website. This is a low-risk, non-intrusive processing activity, and we don’t use this data to identify individuals or profile visitors.
  • Retention: for as long as reasonably necessary for security and diagnostic purposes, in line with IONOS UK’s standard log retention practices.

If we later add a contact form, booking tool, or newsletter sign-up, we’ll update this policy before that feature goes live, since it would change what we collect and why.

3. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use cookies, and no analytics or tracking tools are installed.

If we add Google Analytics (or any similar tool) in future, we will only do so after:

  • adding a cookie/consent banner that complies with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), since analytics cookies require your consent unless they’re strictly necessary; and
  • updating this policy to name the tool, explain what it collects, and confirm where the data is processed.

4. Sharing your information

We don’t sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The only party that processes the automatically-collected server log data described above is our hosting provider, IONOS UK, acting as our data processor.

5. International transfers

We’re not aware of any transfer of personal data outside the UK in connection with this website. If that changes (for example, if we add a US-based analytics or hosting tool), we’ll update this section to explain the safeguards in place.

This site may link to third-party websites (for example, LinkedIn). We’re not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites — please check their own privacy policies.

7. Children’s data

This website is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your data is used (this policy);
  • request access to any personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure of your data;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • data portability; and
  • lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Given this site collects no personal data directly, these rights will mainly be relevant if we later add features that do (see Section 2).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add analytics or a contact form. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
